The word Poutargue means “salted and dried fish eggs”.
It is a pouch of mullet eggs collected when the females are pregnant.
A luxury product, Bottarga has a unique taste and a particularly pleasant flavor on the tongue.

Cut your Bottarga from the narrowest side.
To best preserve your Poutargues, we recommend wrapping them, once opened, in cling film and keeping them cool between 2°C and 4°C.
Usage:
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, in slices on bread or toast.
As an appetizer, cut into thin slices and drizzled with olive oil and lemon.
